Dining at The Walton Arms

Now this is where we get serious, serious because we take the food we offer to our guests with a passion and a pride. We have developed our menus over the years by taking into account the differing guests we look after, the differing times of day you may wish to dine, your differing tastes and the reasons why you are dining with us.

We are very interactive with our guests as it is you that we offer our services. We want to know what you like, what you don’t, why you are here, be it a celebration, a quick bite at lunch, a snack in the afternoon, a meal with friends, whatever your reasons listening to you is most important to us, so please feel free to comment on any aspect of your dining experience.

So here we go with what’s on, where and when.

Sundays.

We serve food all day from 12 noon until 8.30pm. You can choose from the whole menu and dine in either the bar or dining room. After 5.30pm the ‘All Day Selection’ is available in the bar only.

Monday to Saturday.

We start serving food at 12 noon until 2:00pm and then again from 6:00pm until 9:00pm in both the bar and in the dining room.

Food for thought.

We would just like to bring you attention to a few of the features on our menu.

Firstly, our signature dish ‘Our Famous Lamb’. Our guests come from miles around for this dish of very slowly braised lamb, served on the bone, with a delicious redcurrant and minted gravy. Try it once and you will understand why we call it famous.

Secondly, our ‘Three Courses – Plenty of Choices’ selection. Now served every day (excluding Saturday) from 12 noon. This menu offers great value for money. You can choose from five starters, seven main courses, four vegetarian dishes and four desserts or coffee. The price of the main course includes your starter and dessert.

Thirdly, the ‘Specials Board’. Here you will find dishes with a difference, which are themed around the many countries of the culinary world.

Finally we would like to remind you that you can still book tables in the Dining Room as before.
